Well I just may be lucky never having a problem. When staying more than a week we leave the gray open but always flush both tanks using a Flush King.
Amazing what comes out after the first gravity drain then using the Flush King. I sometimes have to back flush 3 or 4 times before I am satisfied the tanks are clean.
