I believe you are correct that the motorhome is what most often is called a Super C. However, since the OP says 8 cylinder, I believe it could also be the 8.1 gas engine as that one was more common than the Duramax diesel. In either case the Class 5 (5500) Kodiak is a pleasure to drive. Our moderator can comment on that chassis.
