Gulfstream Conquest Ultra SE

I have a chance to look at a Gulfstream Conquest Ultra SE 2005 no slides, 23,000 miles. However I just checked and it has a Chevy 8 Cylinder engine? I am not liking that your thoughts. Need an answer so I can drive down this afternoon to look at it. Will have it inspected before I would even think of buying it. I am concerned about the 8 cyclinders.

  • I don't know how big that Gulfstream is, but in the two small Class C's I've had, the Chevy engine has been superb. Very effortless driving in the mountains.
  • I'm not sure exactly what your concern is. The Chevy 6.0 V8 is a good engine and provides decent performance in a class C motorhome. It has less torque and towing capacity than the Ford V10 but by most accounts has plenty of power.
