Gulfstream Sun Voyager

I have a 2003 Gulfstream Sun Voyager Model 8368 MXG. Just to the left as you enter the door and under the sink, there is a switch that looks like a regular house on/off light switch. There is also a indicator light on the switch housing. I have tried switching it on and off and the indicator does not illuminate. I have no idea what this switch is for. It is right next to the overhead and bead light switches. Thanks for any help.
  • We have a 03 Gulf Stream that I think has the same type of switch and we couldn't figure out either. But as Hanko mentioned it could be the electric on/off switch for the water heater. That is what our switch turned out to be.
  • We have a different brand coach than yours that also has the 120vac wall type switch under the sink and it's for the 120vac heating element in our 10 gal water heater.

    Good luck & Safe Travels......

Another vote: especially being a regular house switch 120v.

99% chance that's for the 120V side of the lpg/120V water heater

  • It could be power to the bay lights, if you have them, or it could be what is called the 'salesman switch'. That is one that will turn off all of the power to the house side of the unit. It was so that a salesman did not need to go into the unit and turn all lights off when showing the MH.

There are many other possibilities like a duplicate water pump switch. Leave it in one position and see what you find does not work. then try the other position.

    Good luck in the search.
