Hankook tires

Ordered 4 new Hankook AH-12 275/70R22.5 today at Bruneel in Meridian for the rear. $460/ea out the door, mounted, balanced with beads and all taxes. IMO, they are the best bang for the buck on an RV and after using them on the steer for 3½ years, I am completely satisfied.

Takes about 1000 miles for the Hankook tires to "break in". Will be visiting the same store sometime over the next month to get some new tires.

For 4 Hankook AH11 in 245/70R/19.5, I just paid $1350 out the door (i.e. w/taxes, balance) at Bruneel Tire, 517 N. Meridian Rd, Meridian, ID (west of Boise, ID)

Date codes on all were Feb 2013. Tires looked good, no evidence of being stored outdoors.

Note: all of mine were made in China.

Caution: My RV (30' with motorcycle on rack) now feels VERY squirrely with these on the rear -- like the sidewalls flex way too much. But to be fair, it had been a while since I drove it with the original G670's on the rear.

Does anyone else seem to notice this with these Hankooks?

The Dates in question are Feb 2013 which I insisted on later date tires instead of tires that sat in warehouse for a year-They said no problem & that these tires were moving so they had current dates-These tires are also 14 ply-My current tires are Goodyear 670 & I think I got them sold For $50 bucks each since they are 6 or 7 yrs old but look new-I guess the farmers use them on manure spreaders--Rich

April 22nd I had 6 Hankook 245-70-19.5 tires balanced & mounted put on my MH at a cost of $1,810 (they included switching the best old tire to my spare). That would be $301.67 per tire or $1,206.67 for four.

I paid $1,700.00 last year for six 225/70/19.5 mounted and balanced.

Good price...I got 6 for $2200 cash n carry. Got a road service to mount for $240. Still need to balance but made 2 road trips and no noticeable shimmy...

The Hankooks are great but the price seems to go up a bit every year. Guess that's true with all of them though. Still for the money, tough to beat.

Seems like a fair price to me Rich make sure your DOT Stamp Codes on those tires are current!

I just put the Firestone 560, all the way around. Have heard good things about them! 9R22.5 out the door at $2500.
