We have camped in some very remote areas as well as built up areas in Canada. We have also camped in Europe. We have never been in a situation where we felt a gun was needed. After reading some comments here and having someone across the border tell us that there are states where if someone feels threatened, not confronted with a gun but just feels that you may be a threat, he legally can use a gun, we hesitate travelling south of here.
