I have never felt threatened while camping. I never overnight in truck stops or Walmarts, I think that is just asking for trouble. We always plan our routes so we can stay at a campground each night. I understand this is more expensive, but hey, at that point I am on vacation and want to sit out by the fire with a cold one, not sit in a parking lot or truck stop. I agree with AZPops with his deterrents. Beautiful dogs, AZPops!
