I get it, some don't like guns or just feel there is no need to carry one because they avoid bad areas / situations and move on when there is trouble. Problem is you don't and can't know when your next to be confronted by some crazy / desperate person that may put you and or your family in danger. I have my concealed carry but no, I don't take it everywhere but I do on many occasions put it in the car on a trip and have several times taken it while camping.
There are many that live there lives in places where trouble is everywhere and some have no choice. The rest just say it won't happen to me because I watch out for what's going on around me......
If you own a gun and know how to use it and can carry it legally in your state then why wouldn't you??? I just love it when someone here says "nope, never needed to and I'll just keep a look out"
