Why do so many feel that they have to use deadly force all the time.
I think it must be because of a deep routed fear, and the knowledge that they can not protect themselves any other way.
Never felt threaten to the point of needing a gun. I was in a park once where there was a RV'er in fatigues carrying his side arm exposed. I guess he must have thought he was protecting the rest of us. Now he made me nervous.
