Agreed john walker. Was just curious to see how low it would go. It was about 27 outside when I switched it over. A lot of good points here, especially about the heat from the unit rising up to the ambient sensor letting it run longer.
I had a lot of struggles keeping it cool on the hottest summer days, so much so that I added a third a/c. I would expect the same issue trying to heat when it's very cold. The furnace works good though so no worries. Thanks for all the info everyone.
