- melindakelExplorerthanks for the help
- Argosy24ExplorerYou're going to spend a ton of time trying to find out what company made the HVAC in a motor home that is nearly 30 years old to find it's out of business or hasn't made that core in 20 years.
Take it to a radiator shop and they will repair it or recore it. - darsbenExplorer II

I have a 1985 southwind eagle- the heater core in the engine is leaking- chevy says the heater reil did not come from them but from the rv maker( Fleetwood)- does anyone know where I can find a replacement heater core
Have you called Fleetwood?
I have a 1989 Southwind and they have been very helpful. - fcooperExplorerMy heater core is currently bypassed due to leak, and I've been collecting possible sources for a replacement. Here's what I've collected so far:
www.ACMEAIPARTS.com....linkthe poster that gave me this link stated that the heater core he purchased from this source was much better quality than what he removed. (edited 10/21/13 to corrct link...fred)
"Check Mill Supply at STEPVANPART.com These people sell lots of parts for step vans, and have pictures of many different heater cores. "
Hopefully, you'll get other posts, and I'll be watching for more places to shop.
Fred - wolfe10ExplorerHeater core in the dash HVAC system?
Not familiar with a heat core in the engine unless you are talking about an oil cooler. - rgatijnet1Explorer IIIA replacement would not be any trouble at all ONCE you have the old one pulled out. Any radiator shop should be able to fabricate one or order a generic core for you.
