Height of a class C

I am unable to climb atop in order to measure it myself so I was wondering if anyone knows what the height of a class C is from ground to the top of the AC unit? I want to avoid the calamity of a low bridge. Thanks for any info.

  • I did measure our 2003 30 ft. Itasca; and I think it was about 10 ft. not including the AC and about 11 with the AC. I think only a very unusual out of way overpass on a seldom used road could be a problem. One with a clearance of 12 ft or less. Still, it's good to know. Limbs are a bigger concern.

I did try that but no luck.

  • They vary by a whole lot.

My rig is just 9'-10" to the tippy top of the a/c unit, but that is at the low end of the spectrum.
