I always find the responses to this type of question somewhere between humorous and frustrating. The same "advice" is often given when someone asks about restoring an older car or motorcycle (obviously different forums). The bottom line is if you have the talent and enjoy doing this type of work it is mostly likely worth it. The pride of accomplishment is well worth the effort and $$$$ spent. However, if you are getting into this for a flip, thinking you'll make a quick buck, you are probably wasting your time and money. With that said, this question can only be answered by you. Good luck in whichever way you decide.
