I'll tell you what will make you laugh:
A neighbour, a very successful building, bought an older (90s?) 34' motorhome to use for occasional golf long weekends. Then he built a garage close to the street, more for security than anything else. Did a beautiful job with arched doors and all.
Then within a year discovered that they both loved the RV lifestyle so bought a 38' widebody. Wouldn't fit in the garage! Knock out back wall, rebuild the doorway, excavate the floor, now it fits!
