Hi Guys,so I finally went to pick up my new KZ Durango yesterday and the first thing I noticed after I had it hooked up was how nose high it was. So I lowered the pin box to the lowest mounting points, it helped a fair bit but I still feel that 2" difference from front to back is too much. My Hitch is also on the lowest mounting setting. How nose high is too much and how much is acceptable.how it sits now:here's my question, my FW has built in adjustment like the one pictured below (mine are on the top holes right now - so the lowest height the FW can be) how much lift do I get going to the middle hole and how much to the bottom hole?

Do you have the jack plate adjustments at all three positions or only at each end? If in all three positions, then it will go up what ever the spacing is on the different hole position. Which is normally 2" between holes. If you are only moving one end of the spring, then it will be about 1/2 the distance. Which side is the TV steering wheel on???? :h:h:hDurango is not reversed.Chris

I had to add correct track to mine brought it up 2 inches.

I've just about loaded it up with all of our stuff, I
m going to hook it back up tonight and take exact measurements.
I'm going to Bar Harbour Maine this Thursday with it on our maiden voyage so i'll know more about how it tows shortly - never towed a FW so i'm not 100% sure if what i'll be feeling is bang on or not.

2 inches I wouldn't worry about. My old fiver was 4 inches nose high and never had an issue with towing, tire wear, suspension issues etc.

Go have fun with your new trailer. It looks awesome, where does that rear door go?

I am towing my FW 1-2 inches nose high. I also have available spring adjustment of 2 inches, but only on the ends, so 1 inch of actual raise. I chose to just leave it alone, as it tows just fine. If I added weight to the truck bed, or FW front, it would be closer to level.

FWIW, I read on here, that a person making this small change was not happy after doing it. He said that just changing spring ends, made it not tow as good as it did prior to the change.

I towed 5 inches nose high on a 35 ft,levelled it out ,tows good ,but not as good as it did in high winds prior..I would leave it.
