Just so you can see, here is a shot of my house and garage from the outside. For perspective, the door measures 12 feet by 9 feet 10 inches. The ceiling (open garage door) is higher than the 12 ft once you get through the door, but then about 20 feet back the ceiling drops to 11ft 7inches when you get back to that bedroom you can see. It then continues back to a total of 46 feet, but there is a loft for storage at about 37 ft back.
