okay, this may be crazy, but where is the satellite mounted? could you pull in and have the satellite towards the door where the ceiling is higher? or back in if satellite is within 20 of front?
if it appears to work, I would still consider making the offer contingent on it fitting in garage if it is important to you. Not sure how far away the one you want is, but if your measurements are close, it might be worth the gas to try it out.
