HELP! View/Navion stuck between V and G model?

Any feedback appreciated. I think we have narrowed the long and winding search down to a 2015 View/Navion. So much more counter space in the G model, love the cabinet in the bathroom and the larger kitchen window. The V hands down, I love the twin beds. We haven't always had our best sleep on RV queens, particularly after sleeping on a king at home.

Husband is tapping his foot while I decide. I don't no where we would put the coffee pot on the limited counter space in the V? Ugg.

Any pointers?

Have received some really impressive quotes, and we are ready to get back on the road :)

  • before I bought,, I,d go look at the leisure travel van, freedom serenity II models.better quaility
  • We've pondered the same two models for whenever the day comes that we decide to go with something larger than our B. (Glad owners are weighing in, because I, too, want input.) I am sure I'd enjoy either one but think the V would be my preference.

We talked at length with friends who love their V layout. They pointed out that you can make up the twin beds and leave them that way, handy for naps without needing to extend a slide. They ordered some custom fitted sheets from an RV linen maker and found some quilts in a store that look great. I also like the nightstand in the center. They also showed us the easy access storage below each of the twins.

I have not yet seen this in action, but from what I understand, the G layout queen mattress at the back slide is in two parts, so that the back section (where your heads/shoulders rest) folds down inward when the slide is in. So you then have to re-arrange the bedding when extending or retracting the slide.

In our current Class B, we have fixed twins and like having that aisle down the center.

As far as the galley, I agree about the limited counter space, though I'm used to a tiny galley with a cupboard where the coffee maker is stowed in between uses. I guess the coffee maker would have to sit on the covered sink or stove burner area while in use.
  • Looks like the bathroom cabinet makes for a smaller shower. If you plan to use the shower make sure you get in the showers of both models and move around as you would want to when using it.
  • We got the 2014 V because of the rear bed, which has lots of room for both of us and our dog. We really lke not having to make up the bed before having breakfast. Counter space is a little tight, but the fold up counter helps. We are also thinking of using a French press for more room.
