hide a bed mattress

The mattress in our hide a bed is terrible. Would like to replace it with an air mattress. Any ideas would be apprecitated
  • We went to Walmart, they had a Queen sized air bed with a battery operated pump, built to last for years. I love sleeping on it when we need to but you have to learn the right ammount of air to put in or your wife can just roll you out of bed when whe turns over.
  • "Air Dream" is the way to go. Mine works like a charm and sleeps very good.
  • The OEM couch/sleeper in our 3 year old MH is miserable, air mattress, feax leather flakeing, and due to be replaced by two recliners.

  • Ours came with an Air Dream air mattress that comes with the pump to air it up. Deflates and folds up with the sofabed. Very comfortable.
  • We went with an Aero Bed (available at Bed, Bath & Beyond or online)

Our guests claim it is very comfortable. We've tried it out for naps and find it to be much better than the original foam mattress that came with the sofa sleeper.
