There has been NO proposed legislation to eliminate the home interest deduction for either a first or second home. The only major change to anything that would have any effect on RV ownership is that the sales tax deduction expired with 2013. As of 2014 you can no longer deduct the sales taxes paid in lieu of the deduction for state income taxes.
