OK here is My Plan – Purchase a RV DC 12V Micro Diaphragm Water Pump 1.0GPM 3.2L/Min with Automatic Switch 1205 $35.50

Go to Lowe’s or HD and find plastic fittings from a drip Irrigation system – Purchase some clear hose add a couple of valves $18.00-$20.00(HD Link )and a 12 volt switch (Got it) and insert the system into the line until I am filled with ice then shut off till needed again.
This would allow me to have good ice anywhere any time and still be able to use the old city water system.
Added benefit it would also make the blow out of the Ice Line in the Winter so easy.
$60-$70 total cost.
What do you think?
