Our Gulf Stream Tour Master came with an Everpure QC2-AC system with a dedicated tap for drinking water. The water line to the refrigerator also goes thru this filter also. It uses the Everpure ACD filter. WE have never had bad tasting water or ice. We spend our winters in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas where almost everybody buys bottled water. We don't, because our water tastes so well out of the tap. The filters are expensive, around $40 but they last over a year and I usually catch them on sale and always have a spare. It doesn't take long to spend $40 on bottled water. The filtered water only goes to the dedicated tap and the icemaker and you can sure tell the difference at the other taps in the motorhome. I would figure out some way to incorporate a filter like this in your water system.
