Hot Water Tank
I am an 06 Alfa See Ya. It looks like my water heater is leaking from the bottom. The hoses look dry. Does it need to be replaced and if you have done this what did you replace it with?

I am on my third water heater in my 2001 Tradewinds. It appeared that the tank on the 2nd one was leaking so I replaced the whole unit. My brother in law took it into his shop and wired it up under a sink that never had hot water and it has been working for the past seven years with no leak. That 2nd unit failed in 4 years and really was a tank problem. Proceed carefully before spending 5 to 6 hundred $s.
