I am curious though, why don't we have this problem with the Engine battery? Because we let the RV sit several months over the winter and it starts up just fine in the spring no problem. Is there a difference between the two in terms of wiring etc?
I am assuming that the main engine battery does not have parasitic loading problem that a house battery has that Dakzuki mentions?
Our Ontario winters are the same as yours and we don't have any problems with storage for the winter. We do have a battery disconnect though and I usually make it the RV at least 2 or 3 times during storage to check on it, start it up and run the generator.
The comment about checking levels in the battery is important too, this could be a root cause for so many battery problems if you're charger is boiling the batteries.
