House Batterys

Question about storing house batterys............I took out the batterys this winter for storage, put them in the house where its warm until spring..........will they loose their charge and will i have to charge them before i install them, or can i just install them and charge them off the engine???

    Hi wayland, I take the house batteries and my boat batteries and store them in my garage. I don't have heat in the garage but that doesn't seem to hurt. I put a trickle charge on them about once a month. They seem to hold up very good. NOTE, make sure they are on a dry wood base and not on cement that will kill a battery real fast. Another note I use only interstate batteries on all our toys, they may cost a bit more but well worth the money. HAPPY NEW YEAR ,Denny and my wee blonde Ida
