How do I relocate my outside compartment Cable connection

Has anyone tried to relocate the coax cable connection box so I don't have to reach in so far to connect the campground cable wire. My cable connection is located in the back of the electrical shore p...

I found a 3 foot length of coax cable, and leave it connected, with appropriate connectors, all the time. Reaches to the outer edge of the compartment, and I connect external coax cables to it, for TV, or whatever.
