more it than the above instructions. you have to make sure the water inlet is the same as the old toilet or you will need additional fittings and more hose. you can use flex hose to install, it would make it a lot easier. I can't believe you want to install a shorter toilet. I am of short stature and I went to the taller one and don't regret it one bit. that way I can swing my legs and count my money are in one trip. LOL
