The toilet sits up on a shelf. Si its like 4 inches higher. I'm 5' 10" and my feet barely touch the ground hah.
Hence the low profile. Thanks for the input
I understand what you mean and our toilet room is the same. I replaced ours with a low profile china and it is still a little high. This was the second toilet I have replaced and the smoother of the two. I'm pretty sure we put a Thetford Aquamagic style II or something in there. It came with a new foam seal. I would never re-use the old seal as they are cheap to get a new one. The water line should be a perfect fit
On the first toilet replacement I did, the flange that the toilet attaches to was brittle and had to be replaced. luckily that was on a straight down pipe and I was able to unscrew it with some tools. If you have the raised toilet pedestal, you likely have an angled pipe with the flange glued on to it. Just hope your flange is in good shape if that is the case.
thanks.. Yeah I measured this morning it's actually 8 inches up lol. The low profile will still be a little tall but oh well.
Luckily the coach is only about 9 months old so I'm hoping it's a simple install with no major issues.
Oh. In that case you should have a very painless install. You should be able to sell the old toilet as well after a good bleaching.
I'm 6' and just fit even with the low profile. I'm contemplating building a riser for the wife and kids. I'm thinking feet firmly on the floor has to help the longevity of the flange and mounting area on the toilet.
