I dump tanks when needed as I learned early on that the greatest sewer problem is too little water. So sewer connections are determined by need. Usually do hookup to electric and water as it is easy to do. Five minutes tops. I travel with about 1/3 tank of water unless I know in advance that we will be using the tank a lot. We like the TV and satellite and use computers so electric is good and running generator in hookup campground might just make neighbors really angry. Batteries won't carry that much load through inverter for the time needed.
