Depends on how agile you are and how your motorhome is designed.
On our Chevy based class C I would open the hood climb up and stand on the area over the grill/radiator. Had to be careful where I put my size 14 clod hoppers as some things don't like to be stepped on. It gave me access to the total front and I could also go on the roof and reach down from above for some of it.
That doesn't work as well on our current Ford based motorhome. The hood does not open as far. Thinking of getting one of those folding step things you can put over the front tire so I can stand on it to wash the windshield and see how much of the front I can clean that way and I can reach quite a bit of that front area from the roof.
But my bigger issue is.....when traveling I see these diesel pusher motorhomes that always look like they just drove off of the showroom floor. After 5 days on the road ours often looks like we are survivalists trying to camouflage with dirt and bugs. Sure would like to know how to keep it cleaner. Not always easy to find a large car wash and cleaning bugs off the front is a real workout.
