How to prevent tracking fuel spills into coach

When refueling at truck stops, especially diesel lanes, there can be spilled fuel on the pavement. Will using shoe booties (i.e.; deposal medical booties, like used in hospitals) prevent tracking fuel from our shoes into our motor homes? What suggestions will prevent tracking in fuel spillage into motorhome?
  • I will change SHOES to fuel up in a GRIMY truck stop.

Inside shoes and outside shoes just like in the house.

    JMHO,
  • We keep some throw rugs inside that cover the carpet from door to tile and use mats on the steps.

    Wash periodically.
  • I put an old towel on the floor in the entrance of the motor home and wipe my feet on that when I come back in.
  • If you use the PLASTIC booties, instead of any of the disposable fabric type booties, you should not have any problem. The fabric type booties will allow moisture to penetrate to your shoe sole.
