We have a 2007 Winnebago Voyage 38J. Dissappointed that the black paint on the fiberglass body trim on both sides of the windshield has faded. Must have been a bad batch of paint or not prepared properly. I need to take the trim off, take them to a auto paint shop and have them repainted. Odd, the other tan color body paint on the same parts is just fine. Two screws are visible with the hood open but even after removing the screws I cant get the trim to budge. I suspect it is some form of "align then slide" keyhole feature to lock trim in place but cant get it to budge no matter what I do. Has anyone had to do this? I have tried contacting Winnebago service but thay are always busy, will keep trying... Not sure if I will need to repaint the black portion of the hood too, it hasnt faded hardly at all compared to the two trim pieces. Thanks....
I think yours might be the same as my 08 35L. You have to take the trim inside off to get at the fasteners. It's my black paint on the hood that will not shine for any more than 2 to 3 days after buffing.
