Correct, the system in the link is not HD compatible. I have been looking at these for a while. Prices range from $1000 to $200 for systems that say they can transmit an HD signal. If you do Google searches there are mixed reviews.
BestBuy has a system from Actiontec that is in the $200 range. Reviews on it are mixed. Nice thing is you by it and try it out and if it doesn't work then take it back.
One advantage I see to wireless, is you can get multiple receivers. My issue is I have a coax cable running back to my bedroom and to my outside outlet. With wireless I could put a receiver in bedroom and have one to use for outside and not have to worry about trying to get an HDMI cable all the way to the back.
If the wireless doesn't work for me, another potential solution for running cable is to simply attach it to the ceiling using some type of plastic molding or track system to run the cable in and hide it. Yes this will give you some weird looking piece of plastic on your ceiling, but it's an option. Like somebody else already mention I can probably snake it all the way to the back in cabinets too, but I'll still have to cross areas without cabinets so you could do a combination of that and plastic track molding to hide it.
