I sold my parents through RV trader... took about 2 months (this was in the fall). I did lots of research on price and made sure it was priced to sell without giving it away. It was not a super deluxe model and there were several throughout the country that were the same model.
lots of pictures and details on ad. I only got one or two "consignment offers".
sold it to someone who came 400 miles to get it. they called and I talked to them about 30 minutes, then the came with combo of cash and certified/cashiers check. They bought it that day. Planned to pick up in two weeks, called after a week and said they wanted toad too. So when they picked up the MH, they carried the car off too.
