- _Sea_Of_No_CareExplorerDW and I bought our first Class A DP, a 1999 Discovery 37V in 2009 and we were both 44 yrs old. Now 5 yrs later we have the current coach in our signature a 2006 Diplomat and plan on having this one for a long time. DW is retiring in 7 days and we are getting ready to leave for 6 months. Can't hardly wait!!

- Bruce_BrownModeratorI was 37 when we bought our first DP (our 4th MH, 2 used, 1 new gassers before that), bought our second one when I was 42 when we bought our second one. We still have that one and probably will for the long term future.
- clements02ExplorerTraded our 5th wheel and sold my truck to get ours earlier this year. I was 34. It's a long time till retirement, so this probably won't be our last.
- bullydogs1ExplorerWas 48 when we went Class C and 49 with first class A...was 51 when I got our DP...I'm 56 now...and they will bury me in a diesel pusher.
- 93mastercraftExplorerIt took me a TT, and two 5th wheels before I made the plunge.
- PortWentworthSaExplorerI'm 63 and still not old enough to have one.
- JamesBrExplorerI was 34 when I bought my monaco, at 38 I moved to a 5th wheel. I loved the bus, but the 5th wheel has a lot more space, I already had the truck, and no longer have another engine to maintain.
