ALSO - Traveling with three in a Class B. It is tight with two. There is ZERO privacy..... It takes a very close couple with extreme patience and understanding to travel in a B. Add in a teen and lots of luck.
So it boils down to a bigger MH w/toad, or smaller B towing a TT. The privacy issue is big for us because my DH and I like a LOT of private space. At home he lives on the second floor, I am on main. I got my 17' RVan because DH was dedicated to flyover. Slowly I converted him to the idea that the trip itself can be as interesting as just getting there. His appreciation improved when he got a nice tent, converted when I got him his own teardrop. We have our separate spaces, so if he wants up at dawn to hike or fish, I am not disturbed. And if I want to watch TV til midnight, he isnt bothered. It only takes me 10-15 minutes to batten down the hatches and be on the road if I want to go shop or just tootle around.
