I have right version, I just haven't messed with data logging. I thought it was logging or normal ops, I didn't know it did both at same time. I would really like to have a remote display for this gizmo on the dash so I can see in real time what the grade differences are doing to fridge temp.
NO - It does not bypass the safety feature
Yes - You will need it connected to a computer
You will need the proper version ARP it has to have the data logging port - most do not - KJINTFExplorerNO - It does not bypass the safety feature

Ron, is Leon at Shipshewana selling the ARP control or did you supply your own?
Leon provided and installed it. - KJINTFExplorerEvery installation will produce vastly different results
I did the ARP "Auto Tune" then modified the settings from my data
Not sure if my data is of much use for other installations
To many variables. My frig being in a slide is vastly different than the standard installation. Additionally used one of the USB data loggers that can be set to log Temp/Humidity and ran it in both freezer and frig to log temps.
The burner tube temps do indeed spike quickly when off-level even when driving up/down mountains. My typical burner tube temps (when the frig is running normally)range from 320F to 350F (I shut mine off at 385F) again every install will be different.
My Rigs Frig is a N621 in a large slide w/ a stock top side single thermostat controlled at 90F computer type fan(IMO a pretty much useless fan). As ARP recommended (Suggest you read their documents loads of great info), I installed a large Blower motor not the typical computer fan at the outside base of the frig. To reduce fan noise the 12 Vdc tapped from the gas valve is down converted to 8vdc to drive the motor. We NEVER use it on electric power. - 2112Explorer II

Can you share some of the data?
Love it!
Got the version with the data logger port
Excellent low cost insurance - The Peace of Mind alone is worth every cent
The data logger is kind of nice for geeks but not really needed for most folks
Has the ability to graph the temps during travel - lets me really see what's happening when and why
What does the temp do while traveling?
Thanks? - KJINTFExplorerLove it!

We all need to understand that it is not a cure-all for our refers, but is a step closer to peace of mind for many.
Leaks due to rusting out or material failure of the cooling units will always remain a concern. - Teacher_s_PetExplorerRon, is Leon at Shipshewana selling the ARP control or did you supply your own?
- ronfishermanModeratorHad my fridge fail in April. Got a replacement cooling unit. Had the ARP control installed at the same time. So far I am seeing boiler temperatures around 350°. According to the place where my fridge was repaired most failures are because of overheating boilers. Next winter will be our test when it will be used constantly for 6 months.
I believe that it is some added protection to shut the cooling unit down if high temperatures are detected. Should cut down on the chance of a fire.
