Anyone using a humidifier in their RV. I wake up plugged up and dry with all that stale dry air being moved around. A friend of mine said they used a humidifier in the 5th wheel and loved it..
In Texas most of the time. But will be in CO and NM the new two weeks. When I wake up each morning I am miserable after sleeping into the coach. Just dried out, and my sinuses are a mess.
Yes, you can use a humidifier in the RV. I have one in my RV for the very same reason. We mostly camp in the very dry southwest. Get one that puts out humidifier air and not a stream of humid air. I hope this makes sense. I have found that the ones that put out a narrow stream wet everything below the stream.
I would think that a small table top type would be adequate in a RV, I have one that has two water containers and it just alternates to the full one when emptied. works great in a bedroom in my house which is probably not much less volume than a RV. bumpy
Wal Mart has a small humidifier that you fill with water, it as a absorbent pad, and fan that draws air through that pad. This increases the humidity, and as a side benefit, it will cool the air a bit at the same time. Cost is only about $25.
I'm not too keen on those plate type humidifiers. gunk up too quickly in my experience and a small one is not terribly efficient. I prefer the misting type. bumpy
