HWH Jacks won't go down

I just tried to lower my jacks, and I can hear the pump run, but the jacks don't move. Where to begin? Slide still works.

  • oh well. No more time to troubleshoot. That technical manual site looks promising, but I'm off to go camping. Thanks anyhow.

  • Display panel lights up showing my front being low (which it is). I push the up button, and the "jacks extended" light on the dash comes on, but then goes out as soon as I let off the button. If I push any of the "up" buttons, nothing happens, motor doesn't run. Only when I push the down buttons does the motor(s) run. I'll check out the Technical Manual link in the post above.

  • With the reservoir a quart low I would agree there may be air in the system. Cycle the slide and jacks several times each to purge the system, then top off the fluid again.
  • Is the slide opening and closing normally? If not then possibly air in system.
  • I retracted the slide, but the jacks still won't go down. I checked the fluid....it was a little low, so I added about a quart. Still nothing. Jacks won't extend.

  • Retract the slide and then try extending the jacks. If the jacks work it indicates low hydraulic oil.
