100 AND 200 systems have levers with knobs that activate the jacks. 300 and 600/700 systems use a touch pad and have the solenoids you are asking about. YOUR system the lever IS the valve system. Your "touch" pad just turns the system ON and shows the down/leveling lights. This link shows your valve system. Your slides do have the t handled(or 1/4 inch nut) solenoids but they are ONLY for the slides and have nothing to do with the jacks. Doug

Thanks Doug, trying to get motivated to crawl under (with appropriate safety precautions of course) and see if I can read or measure.

Doug, On our previous MH, we were on a steep slope and the front wheels came off the ground. Coach moved to the side before I could drop it down. The yaw to the side is what alerted me. Had to use a shovel to pry that leveler up until we got it pulled and sent back to the factory.

How did you come up with that? In 30 years of working on HWH jacks, I have NEVER seen a bent cylinder. OTHER brands yes, NOT HWH. Doug

On the bottom of each jack is an AP number. IF that sticker cannot be read, then you have to measure the length of the jack and the diameter of the silver piston and the outer case diameter and either e mail HWH or look it up on their on line parts break down. They do NOT sell the seals, but do sell the springs. You can send the Jack back to HWH for rebuild, which is cheaper than buying a new jack. Doug

No, about 12 to 14 years ago HWH used a type seal that after years of operation lost its "glide" ability. This is the internal top seal. It was tight enough to keep the Cylinder from going that last 2 to 6 inches. HWH found the problem and made the seals out of a different material. The problem still crops up on newer cylinders but is VERY rare. I have not seen one on less than 4 year old HWH system. That is why uninformedpeople on the Internet keep stating all these silly lube fixes. That works for a little while but the problem comes back. The ONLY PERMANENT fix is rebuild or replace. The way to tell is simple. When the jack stops, you should be able to use your hand with very little force and it will retract. IF it does NOT, fix or replace the cylinder. IF it retracts with hand replace the springs. Doug
