The jacks and slides use the same pump and EACH slide by itself will activate the pump to operate the slide. Since it works when you did the jacks and THEN the slides work, you had either a loose connection at the pump assbly, or the pump motor solenoid was sticking. ALWAYS, when you have HWH slides and jacks and ONE system does not operate (slides or jacks) operate the jacks and slides to see if the motor runs. That helps you find out where the problem is. Cold will not affect the slide/jack pump from activating. Cold will affect how fast and smooth the systems operate. I would check the battery and wire connections at the HWH pump motor assbly/solenoids for tightness. Doug
