Hydor hot and Fuel drip

We have a Hydor hot sytem and do not know much about it. Do you know why there would be fuel dripping around the exhaust pipe when the diesel burner is on? It is not coming out through it but coming out under the coach where the pipe comes through the floor. We are going thursday to get it serviced but curious what it might be.

There could be several reasons for a leak. It might be a hose or a loose connection. The pump could be leaking. Really can't trouble shoot it without more information. These systems are a bit confusing to some RV techs. If possible make sure the repair person is a authorized Aqua-Hot tech.

Roger Burke has a website that is really good. He provides parts at a discount and can help you trouble shoot your system.

  • Sounds like a fuel leak.

I WOULD NOT USE THE BURNER UNTIL REPAIRED!

It is OK to use the electric side of the unit but not the diesel burner.
