I have a 2006 Discovery and my reservoir is on passenger side in rear panel. Its a round tank. It has a plug on top. Plug has a dip stick and there should be 3/4 inch of ATF fluid on the stick. If you have been having a leak in one of the cylinders then your fluid level is below the sensor on side of reservoir. That is why your beeper goes off. Add ATF not hydraulic oil.
