When checking the fluid level should the jacks and slides be in or out? Monaco Knight 2010 4 slides.

As others have said, it varies. On my 2005 Winnebego Vectra 36RD with HWH jacks and slides the jacks should be up and 3 of the 4 slides need to be in--the other should be out. The difference is a factor of how the slide mechanism works--actuating cylinders need to be retracted to return the maximum amount of fluid to the reservoir. On my right rear slide the cylinder actually retracts to extend the slide.
Hey Chris,
I knew there was a reason I suggested to check the manual. I knew that I had read where one or more slides might have to be out, in order to check the fluid reservoir. Thanks for the explanation.
