You just joined. Since you are new, you need to understand that you need to post more info to get help. Year/Make/Model of RV. Chassis make. Diesel or Gas engine. Brand of Jacks. Hydraulic or Electric jacks. Quick answer---IF a Gas Chassis (no air bags) then yes the CHASSIS suspension will make some noise. If Diesel, the air bags deflate and you should be solid on the jacks. In my owners manual they recommend blocks so jacks don't over extend. I've found that using blocks stops some of that creaking noise. Seems like the more the jacks are extended the more creaking I was getting.
  • I strongly suspect the creaking you're hearing is from the coach adjusting to the change in loading from the suspension system to the jacks. It's normal. As for the wind, I don't know how the wind would cause any creaking noise while leveling the coach, but not before or after. If the noise is there after you've leveled, then the jacks could be leaking fluid back to the reservoir. If so, check the bleed valves to make sure they are completely closed.

Walking around may cause some noise as weight shifts, but you should have noticed the cause and effect.
