To the OP: My sincere advise to you is: Don't do it!! A couple of months ago I saw a 2004 American Tradition motorhome on EBay that looked gorgeous. The narrative that accompanied stated it was in supreme condition. My wife and I flew out to Fort Lauderdale to buy it. It would not even run and it was in despicable shape, with large delaminated areas. I was irate and walked away. We wasted close to $1,500 on that trip. I now swear that I will not go anywhere more than 100 miles to see a motorhome. Not saying this could happen to you, but surely there are others closer to California and just as good.
