I did the "Cheap Handling Fix"!

I recently did the "Cheap Handling Fix" on my 2013 Winnebago Vista 35F. I am impressed and much happier with the handling so far! Now to get the rig weighed and tire pressure adjusted accordingly! Thanks to all who post here, I am learning a lot!
  • What chassis? Ford F53 or Workhorse? Makes a BIG difference to someone considering this "Cheap Handling Fix"

    Thanks,

    Darryl
  • Congrats. It made a difference for me. Rear sway bar and steering stabilizer will make it better but cost and koni shocks improve ride. I added Kelderman for near perfection but the other fixes will get you a long way after you set tires to proper inflation.
  • Real simple fix & you wont believe the results when your done.
Its so easy, when your done, you'll see you've spent more time thinking about it than it will take to complete the task.

  • But if you do that you're throwing off the front wheel alignment big time.
  • Do a search for "Cheap Handling Fix" on this forum. Very easy and cost me nothing but a couple of hours (or less), and my motorhome handles much better! All you are doing is moving sway bar bolts from one hole to another. You will need a 15mm socket and an 18 mm socket, and possibly a jack or a helper to hold things in place as you align bolt holes.
  • Please enlighten those of us not familiar with what you are talking about.
