i got new tires

The other day i got new totes for my motor home, oh my good it's rides so much better. I knew my tires were old but i didn't realize the rear tires were from 1998 the same age as the rv. I guess i was very lucky I didn't have a blow out.
  • Old tires are stiff, new tires give smoother ride for a while. Tires are damaged just sitting parked for months and years, need to be driven frequently and covered when parked to protect from sun/weather damage. Lucky you didnt have a tire come apart and steel belt slash holding tanks, propane lines or wiring underneath your rig.
  • I also just put new tires on my Lazy Daze. I went to load range E from the D's that were on it. Now it rides hard as a rock. I think the shop put too much air. I will check and adjust the pressure next time I take the truck out.

I didn't see the dates on the old tires but I know they were at least 14 years old. Plenty of tread left but too dangerous to drive on.

I bought Cooper tires which seem really nice for a great price. Now I can take her anywhere!
