I have a Wet Bottom

On our 1200LR there is a plastic tray under the fins and on the left back side a hose is attached which comes out the back.

Only time we got water on the floor was a leaking ice maker hose.

Take the vent cover on the outside of the MH off and look for a drain hose. That drain hose should be put through one of the lovers of thee vent cover and then reinstall the cover and the water then will run down the outside of the MH instead of onto the floor of the refer.

When you find the plastic/rubber hose you will see a dark plug in the end. This plug is supposed to have a small drain drip hole. If you pry out the plug you may find it blocked by "goop"...clean it and reinsert, allowing the water that was backed up to drain out.
I find I have to do this chore once a year.
Also the drain hole inside the frig, about half way down on the side of the track can get gummed up.
Good luck. Sadly, even with regular care, I just had to replace the cooling unit on my Norcold 1200. :(

On BOTH counts. The drain hose is there, unless a prior owner removed it and the ice maker water line will develop pin hole leaks, with the water finding its way to your carpet.

The info on the drain plug on the end of the drain tube is good. It is not necessary to run the tube outside. It drips into an evaporator pan. The drain plug slows it down enough so it evaporates before it runs over.

I discovered the drain hose on my 2006 reefer had almost totally disintegrated. Just touching it caused it to break into pieces. Unfortunately, replacing it entails at least partially moving the reefer. Definitely not a one person job.

There should be a drip pan/tray directly below the coils on the inside of the fridge. This tray goes all the way across under the coils...it looks like a shelf. The tray has a short plastic extended tube that fits into a drain hole directly behind it. (You have to remove the tray to see the hole.)

Sometimes the tray sags and the tube won't line up with the drain hole without a little effort. On the backside of the fridge the drain hole has a plastic tube to take the water to the outside via the vent cover on the outside of the RV.

That tube gets brittle and breaks off. It's easy to replace with tubing from a hardware store.

If the tray is gone or you don't have the time to unplug the drain hole, just put 3 or 4 rolled up paper towels, roll them up like a tube, and put them directly under the coils. It doesn't matter if they touch the coils. That will soak up the water as it comes off the coils. It's just a fix for now.

If you are seeing this after a rain, also check the roof vent. Our vent was leaking and the carpet beside and in front a bit is what got wet.

While I've had no first hand experience, I've heard these work pretty well for wet bottoms...:B...Dennis
