I need a RV mentor

There was a brake recall on the Bosch brakes that are installed on these chassis. You need to find out if that was completed.

The calipers wouldn't release and would drag.

Have you weighed the coach yet and set the tires pressures to the tire makers recommended pressure for your weight?

There is something special about camping in an RV.

The motor home has 33000 miles so checking the fluid should be done. I'll go through the paper work to see if this was done at 25000 miles.

Did you get any of the maintenance records?
I do have the original package that came with this motor home when it was new. there is a lot of info for all the devices that are on the motor home in that package. (frig, water heater, airconditioners, ect)

Have the hoses and belts been changed? Plugs and wires? I'm going to have the MH in for a front end alignment and maybe shocks. It has a steering stabilizer installed but I don't know what brand or if it may need to be replaced. While in for these I'll have them look at the belts, wires and plugs.

One option is to start asking your questions on the forum, someone will have the answer.

If you need someone to show you how to work everything, consider hiring a mobile RV Tech. They could show you how everything operates while inspecting your rig.
The Tech could point out problems or potential problems that will need to be addressed at some point.
Call a campground in your area, ask if they have a list of local mobile Tech's.

But, don't be concerned about asking questions on the forum. There is a lot of information and experience available. Most members are happy to help.

I just want to have someone that can answer questions now and then. We just bought a 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 34TDB. Someone from my area will have knowledge of local shops and other information.

A mentor on a gas rig will be quite different than a mentor on a diesel pusher.
